Part of choosing the right model of Casio for you, is going to involve its size.
Casio watches will generally fit most people, but it can be good to know what to look out for when trying to choose a watch to make sure you get a size that you like and that fits well.
Casio’s Are Often Very Small Or Very Large
When you give Casio’s a quick broad overview, they are either very small, or overly large watches.
You will of course find plenty of average size ones, but in general they do seem to swing either side of this.
The lower value watches are usually quite small, and then at the other end of the scale, the more expensive G-shocks tend to be quite large.
This does mean that no matter who you are, there will be a Casio that fits you perfectly.
Casio’s Will List The Measurements
The good thing about Casio’s is that it is very easy to find the measurements online. This is certainly common with expensive watches, but you will find plenty of watches that are at a similar price point to Casio who just don’t mention anything about the dimensions.
You may get given the width of the case and that is about it, but Casio will provide you with all the measurements of the watch and strap and this can be helpful in deciding if the watch will be the right size for you.
This does only go so far, as watches can be the same size, but wear very differently, they may seem smaller or larger, even if they are the exact same dimensions, but at least having the measurements will give you a rough idea of its size.
Casio’s Usually Wear Pretty Good On Most Wrists
While I have mentioned that Casio’s can be both small and large … I don’t think you really need to worry about this too much.
One of the reasons why Casio’s are so popular is because their watches just wear really well, regardless of your wrist size. I have worn both small and large Casio’s and they just look and feel great.
They are just designed in a way that they will sit nicely on your wrist no matter what. This is kind of what I was saying above about sometimes a watch will wear differently than what its dimensions say.
Just look at the G-shock square it is near enough 45mm across, which is massive, but it wears so well …the same goes for the F91w at only 35mm across ….tiny, but again wears so well.
Casio’s just wear well, the size is almost irrelevant, as they will look and feel good no matter what.

The Lug To Lug Is Usually A Good Size
One of the reasons that Casio’s will wear well on pretty much anyone is due to their short lug to lug length.
This is the distance from the top to the bottom of the watch, where the two straps would attach. These are usually quite compact on a Casio and this can help quite a wide watch seem smaller than it is.
This shorter distance also helps the watch head from hanging over the edge of the wrist, so it just looks visually like it fits the wrist better.
The Casio Woman’s Watches Can Be Very Small
While most Casio’s are a decent size, I do think the woman’s watches are particularly small.
This is fine if you are a woman or a child, but as man, I wouldn’t advise you wear these watches. These types of watches usually look similar to other models of Casio’s, they are just smaller.
They can be as narrow as 25mm, which is significantly smaller than something like the F9w1 which is 35mm …and this is considered small, so you can see how 25mm is going to look tiny.
Casio’s Are Light Weight
When you are considering the size of a watch, usually the weight is a factor too. The larger the watch, the heavier it will be.
This isn’t really an issue for Casio as they are all very light weight, even the largest G-shocks are very light and there are plenty of models you can wear and forget they are even on your wrist, the weight is really not a factor in selecting the right size.
What Size Do You Like?
Part of the equation is going to come down to what size you actually like to wear. The look isn’t so important, it’s more about the feel of the watch on your wrist.
Personally I prefer a smaller watch, I will happily wear a 36mm watch, it feels good and I think it looks cool. However, many guys I know think anything below 40mm is tiny and feels all wrong.
Really the best way to know for sure is to try watches of different sizes, and I’ve already mentioned, different watches can feel different on wrist than their measurements are on paper. I know I have tried on a few Casio watches that I would personally think are too big …but they actually work really well.
…although I would still say your personal preference is going to important too and is worth considering before deciding what model you want to go for.
If You Can, Try The Watch On
If you really want to be sure that the Casio you are thinking about buying is the right size for you, you should try it on first.
Unfortunately this is not always possible, you may be buying online, or the shop you do buy it from will not want to open up the box and get everything out. It’s not exactly a 10k watch where you can go and look at it a few times first and try it on while chatting about it with a sales person for an hour.
The good thing is that Casio’s are pretty common, so you can usually find a friend who will have one and you can ask them to try it on.

Just Go For It
If I am honest, I think you should just go for it. If you see a Casio you, you should just get it, even if you are not too sure how it might look or feel on the wrist.
The chances are that it will be fine. Even if it is a little big or small, it shouldn’t be over the top, you can usually get away it.
you are also probably not going to be spending a lot to, so it’s not the biggest waste of money if you find out that you really hate it (and you can sell it if needs be).
I would also watch some review videos, this will give you a rough idea if it is really small or overly large and most reviewers will say how it feels on wrist and I think from this you should be able to work out of it is going to be right for you are not …and in most cases it will be great.

Conclusion
Hopefully now you feel more confident knowing what size Casio to go for …which to be honest, means pick the model you like and just going for it. It is most likely going to wear fine and even if it is a little bit bigger or smaller than average, it shouldn’t be too drastic and you should be able to get away with it.
Casio really are an amazing brand and their watches really are comfortable as well as cool looking, so hopefully you can find one that you love.
