Pagani Designs are a popular homage watch brand from Aliexpress and I get asked a lot of questions around this brand.

I have just compiled them all here as some of the answers can be quite short, but I think all of these put together can be quite helpful, so hopefully you will learn a thing or two about this watch brand.

If there is anything I haven’t covered you can ask, and I will try and answer it for you.

What Is Pagani Design Known For?

Pagani Design are best known for selling very cheap watches on Aliexpress. They are a homage brand, so they offer designs that look very similar to high end watches, but at a much cheaper cost.

So really they are known for “luxury looking” watches, at very low prices.

Where Are Pagani Design Watches Made?

Pagani Design are based in Guangzhou China and this is also where they do the manufacturing of their watches.

What Is the Price Range of Pagani Design Watches?

The price of the watch will really depend on what model you get, but honestly, for around $100, often less than this, you can pick up a great watch.

When it comes to value for money, Pagani do a great job at this, they offer a lot of watch for quite a low price.

Are Pagani Design Watches Considered Luxury Watches?

Pagani design watches are certainly not luxury. They do however take inspiration from luxury watches and try to make watches that have a similar look and feel, but on a budget.

This is quite controversial and as many people will outright accuse them of copying from the more famous brands and you can see why people might say this. Pretty much all of Pagani Designs catalogue is filled with watches that look very similar to other famous watches, and while they are “homages” they are getting a little close to “clomage” at times.

How Long Has Pagani Design Been in the Watch Industry?

Pagani Design have been making watches since 2012, so while they are relatively young in the watch world, they have been round long enough to show they are a decent company.

People have been buying watches from them for over a decade and it looks like they are only growing stronger and stronger each year.

Do Pagani Design Watches Have a Warranty?

Yes, although like most watches on Aliexpress things are a little unclear. Most listings do not mention anything and a couple will say there is a 2 year warranty, while others say 1 year.

The warranty card in the box says 1 year …so I guess we shall say this is the actual length you get.

However, these are always an unsigned card, which just makes me question how reliable it will be to actually try and use that warranty.

What Materials Are Used in Pagani Design Watches?

I have only seen stainless steel being listed on pagani watches, using the 316L type steel and to be fair the vast majority of their watches look like they are made from this.

However, do have a few “rose gold” models, although they are also listed as being stainless steel. They are of course not made from precious metals, so I do believe these are stainless steel too …but they must be coated with something to make them look rose gold.

I would love to see one of these with a bit of wear and tear, to see if the gold is chipping off or not.

Are Pagani Design Watches Water-Resistant?

Pagani Design watches are water resistant. You need to of course check the individual model, but a large number are.

Exactly how reliable this is, I am not sure. I have never had an issue and I don’t recall any one saying they have to, but I am also not exactly sure how many of these watches are tested to the depths that they claim.

Luckily most people don’t really need a lot of water resistance, the most water your watch is likely to see is some rain or a splash from the sink when you are washing your hands, and I think your Pagani should be able to handle that with no problem.

I would like to see some independent testing, that would always be interesting to see. Most brands are quite reserved with the water resistance claims and usually the watch can go much deeper, and maybe that is the case with Pagani, but I have no way of testing myself. 

Are Pagani Design Watches Suitable for Sports or Outdoor Activities?

Pagani watches are going to be just as suitable as any other watch. A lot of the models are “sports” watches and “dive” watches, so they should be able to handle whatever you are doing.

However, they are still watches and they can be delicate, especially the automatic ones, so you would need to be careful. If in doubt take it off and use something you know can handle being bashed around …like a G-shock.

Can Pagani Design Watches Be Used As A Diving Watch?

A lot of the models that Pagani Design offer are dive watches and claim to have a water resistance of at least 100m.

This means you should be able to use the watches for diving, although I am not actually sure how accurate the water resistance ratings are, but I have no reason to doubt that it would not work as intended.

I would really love to see someone do a proper depth test and just see how well they did. Then we would know for sure.

Are Pagani Design Watches Suitable for Daily Wear?

Pagani Design watches are actually going to make a great daily watch.

They look great (thanks to the fact they are homages of other popular watches) and they are cheap, so this is the perfect combination to make it a daily watch.

You can go about your day and you do not need to worry about the watch. If it gets damaged or lost it doesn’t matter it’s not that expensive.

If you have model that has a Seiko movement inside you also know that it is going to be reliable and ticking away all day long. Most models are also waterproof and also have sapphire glass, so really they should be able to handle anything that happens throughout the day.

Are There Any Unique Features in Pagani Design Watches?

When it comes to Pagani watches, they are pretty generic in regards to functions that are available. There is nothing you that you can’t see elsewhere, and that is okay.

Things like date and day functions are pretty common and you can get a few GMT and chronograph models, which are always cool functions.

Let’s be honest, this is how most watch brands do things, there are only a few very high end companies that offer really unique features.

Does Pagani Design Offer Automatic Movement Watches?

The short answer is yes, they offer automatic movements.

You will need to look at the individual listing, but I would say that the majority of their watches are automatic watches, but you will find they have a lot of quartz too, so it’s always best to check if you are after one or the other.

Are Pagani Design Watches Limited Edition?

Pagani Design watches are not limited edition. I am sure they only sell certain models for so long, or make so many …but they never advertise their watches as limited, so really so long as watch is selling well, I imagine they just keep making them until the interest dies out.  

How Accurate Are Pagani Design Watches?

The accuracy is going to depend on the movement you have inside your Pagani. In general their accuracy is okay. It’s nothing amazing, but it’s also nothing terrible.

Ideally you want to have a Seiko movement as they are going to be the most reliable, but not always the most accurate.

However, you can easily adjust these to make them more accurate.

Are Pagani Design Watches Equipped with Sapphire Crystal?

You would need to double check the model you are looking at, but from my understanding, pretty much all of their watches have sapphire crystals.

I can’t remember any that didn’t.

Do Pagani Design Watches Use Swiss-Made Movements?

No, there are no Swiss movements in Pagani Design watches. There are a few models which have the PT5000, which is a Chinese made clone of a Swiss movement.

The majority of the watches actually contain Japanese movements produced by Seiko. 

How Is the Customer Service of Pagani Design?

This is a tough one to answer, as I have no used them myself and I can’t even recall hearing any stories about them.

Usually when a company offers dreadful service, you hear all about it and I can’t think of any examples from Pagani.

However, you have to ask how many people even try and use the customer service? I think most people see their Pagani watch as disposable and so long as it comes out of the box working, they will just accept the loss if it does break and will not try and contact the company.

A think a large part of this is also to do with the fact that they are based in China, so you are going to have language barriers and just generally having to send something all the way back there is an inconvenience.

You also have the issue of the multiple stores selling these watches on Aliexpress. Some stores are going to offer better service than others, so I guess it can be a real lottery as to the service you get.

Can the Straps of Pagani Design Watches Be Replaced?

The straps are just like any other watch strap; they can be replaced with whatever you want.

You just need a spring bar tool to remove the current strap and then you can put on whatever you like.

Are Pagani Design Watches Available Worldwide?

This is a tough one to answer as there are actually quite a few different stores that sell Pagani Design watches.

Although, I am pretty confident though that no matter where you live, you should be to find a store that will ship to you.

What Makes Pagani Design Watches Stand Out from Other Brands?

This is a good question. I think it’s the price mixed with quality.

While their designs are not exactly original, they are popular and sought after and Pagani offers these styles of watches at a very reasonable price. I then think when you pair this with the quality of the watch that you get for this price, this makes them stand out.

You can get a pretty decent quality watch that has excellent specs, for a very decent price. 

Most other brands offering watches at a similar price are just junk, and while Pagani watches are not the highest quality, they are very well made for what you are paying for them, and this has made them stand out as the “cheap, but decent” watch brand on Aliexpress.

Are Pagani Design Watches Suitable for Formal Occasions?

This will depend on the model, but yes I would be happy to wear a number of Pagani watches to a formal occasion.

You also need to remember that most people have no idea about watches. If you turned up wearing a G-shock Mudmaster, no one would care …and let’s be honest, most people will be wearing an apple watch, so wearing something from Pagani will actually make you stand out, in a good way.

What Are the Primary Target Demographics for Pagani Design Watches?

Well, based on looks of the watches and the low prices …my guess is that Pagani are trying to target people who are interested in watches, but don’t quite have the funds to have the watch collection they want.

Pagani are a homage company, offering people the look of luxury, at affordable prices. The general public don’t care about luxury watches and they don’t care about homages of luxury watches. They are more likely to go into a high street shop and by a watch for $30 and be happy with that.  

So really Pagani’s target demographic is quite narrow, but I imagine a lot of people still fall into this group.

Are Pagani Design Watches Suitable for Both Men and Women?

Yes, anyone can wear a Pagani design watch.

If you like the look of the watch and it fits well on your wrist …wear it. It doesn’t matter who you are, it’s your wrist and you can wear what you like.

Are There Any Celebrity Ambassadors for Pagani Design Watches?

No, there are no celebrity ambassadors, but plenty of Youtube channels have made videos about these watches, so maybe you can call these “celebrity ambassadors”.

Are There Any Special Collaborations or Partnerships That Pagani Design Has Done?

Pagani has not done any collaboration with anyone. This kind of makes sense as it is homage brand and the homages are pretty strong, so I imagine not many other companies would want to be partnered with a watch brand that looks a little too similar to other brands.

If Pagani started to produce their own more original designs, then maybe some collaborations could happen.  

Can Pagani Design Watches Be Sold as an Investment?

I would say no.

I think you can resell a Pagani, but even this may be difficult and you will defiantly not make a profit.

These watches are cheap watches, they are not going to go up in value and even if they did, it is not exactly going to be by much. They should not be considered an investment and instead something you can just use and enjoy as it was intended to be with no guilt or fear around damaging it as it is so cheap.

What Is the Resale Value of Pagani Design Watches?

To be honest, the resale value is pretty low.

I have seen some people trying to sell their watches at pretty close to retail, and often this is when the watch is unworn.

Usually they are being sold for maybe 30% of the original value, maybe a little more. I guess it depends on the model and where it is being sold, but I have seen them go for much less than you can buy them for new.

Are Pagani Design Watches Considered as a Good Value for Money?

I think most people would consider the Pagani watches as good value for money.

They are around $100 and you get a decent watch for that. You are not getting the luxury watch it may look similar too, but I think for what you pay, and what you get …it is fair value.  

Do Pagani Design Watches Have a Unique Serial Number or Identification?

If you are referring to the individual watch, then no, there is not a unique serial number.

There is however a unique model number, which makes sense really, they need a way to distinguish all the different models they offer. 

Can Pagani Design Watches Be Engraved or Personalized?

You could get a Pagani Design engraved, but this is something you would have to go and do yourself, it is not a service they offer.

However, the bigger issue would be finding somewhere to do an engraving as a lot of the casebacks are clear, meaning they are made from glass so you can see the movement. I have seen a few solid casebacks, but these are already engraved with the Pagani logo so it would be difficult to add something extra on to this.  

If you are looking to create your own watch brand, Pagani will help you with that. This would involve you having to buy a number of watches in bulk, but they can change the logo from Pagani to whatever you want and you can start your own watch company as such, it would just all be manufactured by them.

Do Pagani Design Watches Have Any Advanced Functionalities like Chronographs or Moon Phases?

You can get the chronograph function on a few models of Pagani, but I have not seen any moon phases. I think this would be pretty cool, but they are not really fashionable, so maybe if they start becoming more sought after we might start to see some appear in on Pagani watches …I would like that.

How Long Is the Power Reserve in Pagani Design Watches?

The power reserve is totally going to depend on what movement you have. If it comes to one of the NH movements, then you should expect around 40 hours. of power

If you have a quartz movement …well it’s just going to keep going until the battery runs out which could be a few years.

Are Pagani Design Watches Handcrafted?

It is hard to know exactly, as there is not much known about the Pagani factory. I have seen one picture, so I can only go based off that.

I would say based on my knowledge of other Chinese manufactures that a lot of the process is automated with machines.

However, watches usually do need some kind of human touch to finish one or two thing off, so I would imagine that at some point along the production process there is a human involved and the picture I have seen from them shows people working on the dial, probably adding the hands.

I would love to see a proper factory tour from Pagani, I think that would be really cool …and if they are reading this, you can invite me, I will happily film it. 

Can Pagani Design Watches Be Serviced or Repaired Locally?

This is an interesting question. The truth is yes. You should be able to get these watches repaired anywhere. Although, a lot of watch makers see it as a waste of time and won’t do it.

You will also find that a lot of them will suggest that you just replace the movement, which will be much cheaper and easier to do. A lot of the Pagani watches use NHxx line of movements, so they can be easily found and very cheap, so it makes sense to do that.

Are There Any Flagship Stores or Authorized Retailers for Pagani Design Watches?

If I am honest, this is all a little confusing. Every time I go on to Aliexpress there seems to be a new store and one of the olderones that was there last time seems to have vanished.

I have no idea why this is, but all I know is that there isn’t really an “official” main store on there …but pretty all of the stores you do find on the site say they are authorised sellers or official sellers and selling straight from the factory kind of thing.

I believe the factory sells its products wholesale to people …who are then the ones who set up all these stores on Aliexpress.

There is a website, which I believe to be the owned by actual company/factory, and you can order from this site if you want, as well as buy wholesale as I just mentioned.  

What Are the Popular Collections or Models in the Pagani Design Watch Lineup?

This is a tough one, as there are a lot of different models, and I need to be careful with what I say here.

From looking on Aliexpress and sorting the listings by “most orders” it seems to be two different chronographs that are the most popular.

Both of these watches look very similar to some very popular chronographs from two Swiss companies, so I will leave you to work out what that means. 

How Often Does Pagani Design Release New Watch Models or Designs?

This is a tough one. There doesn’t seem to be any schedule, but I will say they do release new models quite frequently.

I would say that you should check on what they are offering quite often as you will find they do release a lot of new watches.

What Is the Average Lifespan of a Pagani Design Watch?

This is a hard one to answers, as a lot of owners have not really had their watches that long, so we do not really have some long term data to get a good average on how long they will last.

However, the watches are put together well and if you have something like a Seiko movement inside, there is no reason it cannot last 5-10 years … and then you can service it and keep it going just as long.

I think with some actual care, you can get a Pagani to last just as long as any other watch. There is no reason why they can’t last indefinitely like any other watch. The fact that they use Seiko movements also means it will be easy to repair them and keep them running, so I think you should be able to keep your Pagani in action for a very long time.

Are There Any Eco-Friendly or Sustainable Practices Involved in the Production of Pagani Design Watches?

Now this a tough question, and honestly I can’t answer it. I have not got enough information to know exactly what goes on throughout the production of their watches to even make a guess.

Do Pagani Design Watches Come with Interchangeable Straps?

Pagani watches have straps that are just like any other watch. So long as you have a spring bar tool you can remove the strap or bracelet and swap it with any you want.

Quite often they come with a free nato strap and really you can interchange the straps as much as you want, so long as you know how to.

How Do Pagani Design Watches Compare to Other Well-Known Watch Brands in Terms of Quality and Craftsmanship?

This is a good question.

In terms of other Aliexpress watches, I think there are a few brands that out do Pagani Design, but overall they are a big player in the Aliexpress game.

I would happily buy a Pagani over some other brands, as they are known and trusted and while the quality isn’t the best, it is decent enough. You know what you will get with Pagani and this is what you want to know before you buy.

As for other brands outside of Aliexpress, well you are competing against some giants …mostly from Japan. Just think about Casio, Seiko and Citizen. These can be found for a similar price, maybe a little bit more. However, you do get a little bit more from these brands. Overall the quality and craftsmanship is better with these other brands, especially Casio.

However, you can find a lot of mircobrands that are of similar spec and quality, but they cost a lot more. You could argue that these have slightly better finishing, but its close and the lower price of the Pagani can make them the more appealing option ….but the microbrands are original designs, so you can see it can be a hard choice to make.

Are Pagani Design Watches Known for Their Innovative Designs?

I’m not sure if this question is a joke or not.

But anyway, no. they are not known for their designs. They are a homage brand and well …they are basically known for other peoples designs.

The common joke you will hear is “What exactly did Pagani Design …design?”    

Can Pagani Design Watches Be Considered as a Collector’s Item?

This in an interesting question, as what do we mean by a “collector’s item”. This would suggest that the watch is rare and sought after by many people, but only a few can actually have it, which makes it more valuable.

I don’t think this is the case for Pagani. Anyone can have one and they are readily available. 

However, if you are a watch collector, you can add one of these to your collection …so in that sense, it is an item that you can collect.

You can attach your own value to it, but I doubt you will ever see one of these going for a crazy price at auction. 

How Do Pagani Design Watches Maintain Their Competitive Pricing Compared to Other Luxury Brands?

Pagani Design certainly has competitive prices …but they are not luxury.

I think a better question would be to ask how they can stay competitive with other affordable brands. A lot of the other brands on Aliexpress have started to creep their prices up, where Pagani as stayed fairly consistent.

How they do this, I have no idea. I can only assume they are still making a healthy profit on their watches and this can allow them to keep the prices as low as they are. I am certainly not complaining. I think right now the prices are fair for what you get. If they increased and there was no increase in quality to reflect that, I would not be impressed.
